Regardless of the real number of deaths and injuries caused by such products or the real efficacy/effectiveness of such products, as well as the real safety signal for such products. One thing is very clear

It is a shame to give the Prize just to justify a failed product and a failed response, that is in violation of all Standards on Bioethics (e.g. Nuremberg Code), INDs (i.e. Investigational New Drug Applications) and CGMPs (i.e. Current Good Manufacturing Practices), via the use of an EUA waiver under the guise of a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (i.e. a PHEIC).
